New Edge Publishing Company, 2000 - Language Arts & Disciplines - 324 pages
This Dictionary is a tool designed for writers, songwriters/lyricists, educators, poets, speech pathologists, speechwriters, ad copywriters and others who work with rhyme. Thousands of metaphors, similes, figures-of-speech, and other word combinations have been compiled by the rhyme of the last word in each phrase and sorted into sixteen sections. The result is a clear, easy-to-use format. This is the first dictionary dedicated to rhyming phrases, and includes an alphabetical index.
