This book is invaluable when it comes to the history of the Jackson family In Cape Breton and indeed Cape Breton History In general. I own a signed copy of this book and I'm afraid i have used it so much it has fallen apart. I of course am a Jackson and have also added a couple of generations to the tree.

As a descendant mentioned in this book, I find it to be an invaluable resource for family genealogy. It is in pieces from reading and researching from it many, many times over the years. Since it was published, there are several more generations of kith and kin.
I am of the 8th generation.
