It also forwards a new way of looking at reading as one of many means of communication, which when mastered, furnishes the foundation for interrelated functioning in the world. SWIERL includes all means of communication: S = speaking through utterances; W = writing thoughts; I = informing by all methods; E = expressing through actions; R = reading [of] books, people, nature, and the universe in general; L = language, the interrelated bases of all communication. The method outlined approaches the improvement of communication methods.
