"Love is Eternal" was the inscription Abraham Lincoln had engraved on the wedding ring he gave Mary Todd. This book tells Mary's own story, especially her romance with Abraham and her years of marriage which were happier than historians generally believe.

Review: Love is Eternal

User Review  - Angfife - Goodreads

I love this book and author. I read this15 years ago and have never forgotten it. I reread it a few months ago. Really interesting information about Abe Lincoln and his wife Mary Todd. Language is kind of old fashioned, but researched really well. Great sketch of the time period. Read full review
