Having used the A&P textbook by Marieb in the past (university), I was disappointed in the degree of superficial content presented (eg not expanding on terms deemed noteworthy, some confusion from the text like differentiating [presynaptic?] facilitation vs synaptic facilitation, etc). About the author (2010)

Kenneth S. Saladin is a full professor at Georgia College and State University. He obtained his B.S. degree in Zoology from Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Florida State University. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses for over twenty years.
