David M. Eastis is an authority on the number seven. And its number-one fan. Seven first piqued his interest at the age of seven when he and his family moved to San Jose, a city founded in 1777. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, one of the seven schools in the Claremont College consortium, Eastis is a fundraiser for the University of California, Davis and a lifetime seven enthusiast.
