A very rare and unique book that highlights the various categories of "Miracles" and how they are understood by man. Coming from a Western World but being a Theosophist himself, Murphet has extensively toured India and has found a yogi or a sanyasin with those wonderful powers which the Indians accept naturally, in the village of Puttaparti in the state of Andhra Pradesh in Southern India.
He has met, seen, spoken, observed and experimented with that sanyasin called Sri Satya Sai Baba. He is one of the most popular spiritual leaders in the world in 20th century. The book is a biographical treatise of Sri Sai Baba gathered by Mr.Murphet from various sources like direct experience, devotees of Baba who lived very close to Baba and facts and miraculous experiences of many devotees in their association with Baba.
The unique feature of this book is that Mr.Murphet has never quoted any of the miracles as just a narrative but has always attached valid details of the person who experienced such miracles. He was very unbiased in the ways he described the acts of Baba and at the same time he had also maintained a constant aspect of Bhakthi that is very near to devotees of Baba.
