About the author (2003)

He was the creator of The Red Book and The Blue Book, first published in the 1940's. He was a speaker, exhibit judge, an authority concerning U.S. and world coins, and the inventor of coin folders. He was a lifelong member of the ANA.

Ken Bressett is the author of numerous books and articles on collecting U.S. and world coins. He joined the American Numismatic Association in 1947, and has since received the Zerbe Award, ANA's highest honor for service to the association. He is also a member of the National Numismatic Hall of Fame.
