Yes, that is correct. Under Jan Antonin Batas ownership and administration of Bata during the period from 1932-1939, the Bata organization spread throughout the world from a manufacturing base of Czechoslovakia (Moravia/Slovakia/Czech) to create new manufacturing plants in dozens of countries as well as creating in excess of 30,000 new jobs throughout the world.
