About the author (2010)

Christina Paulette Colón's great passions in life are nature and travel. With a Ph.D. in ecology, an MA in environmental education, and a string of publications, she is an academic, an educator, and an author. When not exploring tropical rainforests, coral reefs, or sandy beaches, she can be found exploring the wilder side of New York City, which she calls home.
