About the author (1999)

Brainard was born in Cebu City, Philippines. She teaches creative writing at the Writers' Program of UCLA Extension.

Litton is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University. He completed a Master of Art degree at Georgetown University. He also holds a MA in Educational Technology and a Doctorate in Edcuation from the University of San Francisco.
