His work has appeared in the Atlantic Monthly, Rolling Stone and the Guardian. He has received a number of journalistic honours, including a National Magazine Award for an Atlantic Review article on the drug trade, which was later adapted into the book Reefer Madness.

It is good to have a book about the secrets of the Fast food industry. It certainly did change my appetite forever. Though Schlosser focuses more on McDonald's, it can show that all fast food chains can similarly do what the golden arch company does to taint its food. Read full review

Gruesome. Well written and really takes you in depth in how our food is grown, raised, prepared and those who are doing it for us. It made me stay up at night, and is the biggest reason I have not had any fast food in 7+ years. Read full review
