It's really simple - obese people (for the most part) are addicts and would do well to join a 12 step program. We live in a time where there are so many food additives that make these fat people crave the foods. These people are going to cost this country a fortune with medical bills. I wish were were more like Canada, Japan and Sweden. No knee or hip replacements until they lose the weight!
