About the author (2004)

2004 Judith Craig was first elected as a Bishop in The United Methodist Church in 1984. She served for sixteen years, first in the Michigan Area and then in the Ohio West Area. Since her retirement, she has continued an active ministry as Visiting Professor of Church Leadership and Bishop in Residence at Methodist Theological School in Ohio where she continues to mentor the next generation of leaders in the Church. Bishop Craig recently authored Leading Women: Stories of the First Women Bishops of The United Methodist Church.
