Fireman Small - Fire Down Below!
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Aug 30, 2004 - Juvenile Fiction - 32 pages
Fireman Small is having trouble sleeping—again. Plinkety-plop, a raindrop falls— SPLAT!—on the nose of Fireman Small.
A leaky ceiling forces him to leave the station and check in at the Pink Hotel.
Fireman Small won’t get a restful night’s sleep just yet though . . . at first it’s the noisy hotel guests preparing for a night on the town that keep him awake, but then it’s the fire down below that gets Fireman Small out of bed and to the rescue!

Very strange little story about a fireman who can't sleep and goes to a hotel for the night. The rhyme scheme is what bumped this up to 3 stars, otherwise I felt the story was a little strange. Read full review

This is one of my mother and my favorite books to read together. The rhyming is fun, and the pictures are very interesting and funny! Read full review
