Front Cover
Bloomsbury Academic, 2005 - Art - 144 pages
Glamour photography used to demand expensive, hi-tech equipment, a beautiful and equally expensive model and an exotic location or elaborate set but the advent of digital cameras and photo-editing has changed all that. Images can be given a professional look even when they have been done on a shoe-string budget. A Comprehensive Guide to Digital Glamour photography covers all aspects of the genre from how to pre are for a shoot to how to remove blemishes from your model's skin. AVA's digital photography series aims to unravel the complex world of digital imaging while concentrating on the photographic aspect. With the aid of inspirational images the book shows in easy steps how the image was taken, manipulated on the computer and output in the desired form. Clear diagrams, screengrabs and captions and a comprehensive glossary explaining technical words provide the reader with the essential skills to master the new photographic media. Book jacket.
