About the author (1983)

Elizondo is a diocesan priest, theologian and founder of the Mexican-American Cultural Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was awarded the 1997 Laetare Medal by the University of Notre Dame, considered the most prestigious honor given to U.S. Catholics.
