Page 1 - Schools and Staffing Survey The Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS) is a set of linked questionnaires that covers public school districts, public and private schools, principals, and teachers, as its core components. SASS was first conducted for the National Center for Education Statistics by the Bureau of the Census during the 198788 school year. SASS subsequently was conducted in 1990-91 and in 1993-94.
Page 3 - Full-time workers are those who worked 35 hours or more during the survey week. Part-time workers are those who worked 1 to 34 hours.
