As with many Lonely Planet (or perhaps we should start calling it the "Crowded Planet") editions this is yet another must have in the backpack. Printed in 2006, the prices are slightly out of date, however everything that I have looked for is where the book says it is! Great hints on getting around and sightseeing as well. Many travelers simply refer to it as "The Book".

It's a very complete guide. Although, the tips for Indonesia (specially Bali) and Koh Tao (Thailand) are not great, and actually a bit crappy. Read full review
