Every once in a while, we stumble upon a perfect fit in our homeschool and the Just Write books are one of those "perfect fits". My son has completed 1 and 2 and is enjoying book 3. They are very clear, self-explanatory and easy for him to complete independently. They provide a nice foundation for basic writing skills without being too boring, formulaic or mechanical. My son, who is not a natural writer, has enjoyed working through these books, and I have watched his writing become more natural and fluid. I agree with the other reviewer - I would love to buy a Just Write 4!!
Review: Just Write, Book 1User Review - Christianbook.com
My son does not care for writing. This book is helping him learn that writing is something he can do. The writing process is broken down into very easy steps. For children who are not naturally creative writers, this book makes writing easier. This is not a grammar book. It will really help your child know that they can write.
