I didn't realize that there was a book on this subject but do remember the video being shown in College so I'll go with that.
It's true that prevention is the best way to avoid an attack in the
first place and that point is clearly made along with the best ways to calmly handle such situations should they occur. However as a last resort it is essential for every female to know how to successfully defend themselves. The two self-defense techniques mentioned (although graphic) are superb. Well as a vulnerable male I do feel that gouging the eyes or grasping a testicle would definitely be effective.
If more females knew of the testicle grab, squeeze/crush method and more men where aware that girls wouldn't hesitate to use it in an attack....then there would be fewer rapes.
