This was fine, but I've got so many books, so little time, so I quit about halfway through. It was interesting to read about 1930s Nazi Germany, but I just couldn't care enough about the Dodd family profiled.

Sad commentary on options for women. I found a new respect for women who opted for more. Also made me think how little moral standing the US had at the time. Tough to argue the anti-Semitic build up ...
