About the author (2005)

Toby Bost is a frequent guest on gardening television and radio programs. He writes the question-and-answer column for the "Winston-Salem Journal".

In 1995, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents. "The North Carolina Gardener's Guide" earned him the national first place award in the publications category. He is a member of the National Association of County Agricultural Agents.

Wilson is a leading figure in wildlife conservation in Ireland. He has been an enthusiastic birdwatcher for over 20 years and travels throughout the country promoting and encouraging awareness of Ireland's birdlife.
