You'll want to read this BibleUser Review - Christianbook.com
The front cover of this Bible draws me to it. The color and design are welcoming to the eye. Inside, the title and number of the chapters are in green, the rest of the text is brown. This breaks up the monotony for me. In the middle of every few pages there is a Bible Verse from that page that is highlighted in a box. It really helps the eyes get rest from reading. There are introductions to each book in the Bible. That is not so different from other Bibles. What makes it interesting are the side-columns. There are facts about the book, about the author of the book, the dates it takes place, who it was written for and where it takes place. There is even a memory verse. You get a better understanding of each book of the Bible with all these facts presented. This Bible has Week Day Devotions and Week-End Devotions. The Week Day Devotions have questions for reflection. You are asked questions about yourself and your relationship with God. The Week-End Devotions are readings, with many being about a woman in the Bible. The Week-End Devotions can be read quicker. I really like this Bible. My favorite color is green and this book is full of it. the The introduction to each book has a green background picture, the highlighted verses are in a green box. The boxes for week day devotion reflections are shades of green and brown. The brown and green theme is very relaxing. It is very easy to read also. The devotions and boxed verses really help to keep the reading interesting. I think that everything in the introductions makes me want to read it more because I have a better understanding of the time period and what's going on in the region of the writing. I would recommend this Bible who wants to get out of the rut of finding the Bible not interesting. You will look forward to reading this Bible daily. I received a free copy of this e-book from NetGalley for my honest review.

If you want to start at the beginning of the Bible and read forward, this is the product for you. However, if you want to go to a specific passage, good luck. If you click on a certain book in the table of contents, you simply move forward to the next page of the table of contents. Some kind of instructions would be helpful. Perhaps my problem is that I don't have enough experience. Admittedly, I am new to electronic books.

Guess some things are not as good as the real thing. Honestly don't know if this is more of a problem with this digital book in particular or if its buggy coding in the book reader software, but it is too much of a hassle to use. The primary issue is the link system. The links don't take you to the right part of the book or daily reading. So if you don't place a digital bookmark (or you forget), you will have to scroll potentially hundreds of pages to get to your last spot. I love ebooks, but I feel that the hardcover version might be a better use of time in this case.
Great for New ChristiansUser Review - Christianbook.com
The New Women’s Devotional Bible has been out for a while, but it was new to me, and I like the format, and the devotions. The primary reason I haven’t bought one is the text color on the page, but that is no longer an issue in the ebook version. Devotions by Joni Earickson Tada, Katie Brazelton, and many others are included that fit the passages they are with. I like the ‘Day of the Week’ format, which allows you to pick a reading for a particular day of the week from anywhere in the Bible, plus each devotional tells you the page that the next one can be found on, so you don’t have to try to figure out where the next day’s devotional is. The quick descriptions at the beginning of each book are nice, too. They aren’t too in-depth, but they add some color to the reading. I especially like the “key verse to remember” as that is a great way to find a verse from each book to memorize over the course of a year. Overall, this would be a great gift Bible, particularly to someone who may not have a great deal of experience with a study Bible. A new Christian woman would certainly get a great deal out of this Bible, and it would enhance the collection of any Christian woman looking for a Biblical devotional, without the burden of juggling two books during quiet time. There are plenty of cross-references in the devotionals, and the reading plans included in the appendix are very interesting. I particularly liked the 30 days with…plans, which include 30 days with Jesus, 30 days with Paul, 30 days of faith, to name a few. *The rating is not based upon the actual content of this bible which I can't rate because I wasn't able to open on ereader. Wasn't able to read using Kobo Wireless eReader. Could read and navigate table of contents only. Unable to scroll or to read books and chapter on eReader. Rating based on ebook experience only. Unable to actually use or read bible since I could not open. Email from CBD said they're working on fixing this. I would purchase this bible again for eReader if it worked.
