Review: Absolute Boyfriend, Vol. 02 (Absolute Boyfriend #2)

User Review  - Sami C - Goodreads

This reeks of Fushigi Yugi, again. Broken jewelry theme was used between Miaka and Yuiren. And the slap + giving back of jewelry also happened between Miaka and Nuriko. The plot thickens, and as usual, I am left scrambling to the next chapter because the current love conundrum is too intriguing. Read full review

About the author (2006)

A manga artist for over ten years, Watase's debut came in 1989 at the age of 18 when her short story PAJAMA DE OJAMA (An Intrusion in Pajamas) appeared in the monthly Shjo Comic manga anthology. Since then she has written and drawn some 50 volumes worth of different short stories and long-running manga series, including the fantastically popular FUSHIGI YGI, also available in English from VIZ. Her works have provided the basis for two television series, an OVA series, anime soundtrack CDs, and a string of novels.
