About the author (1999)

Michael Anthony Steele has written for family entertainment for more than thirteen years, and is author of more than 60 books for major brands, including "Speed Racer, Shrek, The Batman, Spider-Man, Garfield, " and others. He began his writing career as a staff writer for the PBS series "Wishbone " and more recently has written 25 episodes for the PBS series "Barney & Friends." He currently lives in Texas.
