Vintage Textured BarkclothUser Review - Overstock.com
Disappointed in the lack of depth of real information. With the exception of a few pages, it is just a picture book of some of the barkcloth the author has or has had for sale. A very small sampling of all the barkcloth available. Instead of repeating the same pattern, but in different colors on several pages in the book all that needed to be done was show a pattern once and list the different colors available beside the image. This may have decreased what seems to be pricing descrepences or forced an explaination of them. Also beside an image the manufacturer and more detail of the weave would have been helpfull. Or even a few pages on the weaves with close ups of different weaves. Nothing indicated the use of reseach by using old catalogs, samples books or ads. This would have been valuable information beside the photos and added weight to the dating.
