## Reviews## User reviewsUser Review - Flag as inappropriate Gilbert Strang is Brilliant. The book is a treasure trove of his insight into the subtleties of Linear Algebra. As another reviewer pointed out, do the review problems. If you do them in sequence they tend to help clarify the content of the chapters, and prompt you into thinking about the material in different ways. The Problems teach as much as the sections explaining them. User Review - Flag as inappropriate A good book influences its reader in an unimpressive manner. This is a book initiates the reader with the right seeds of the subject. User Review - Flag as inappropriate Great book, great author. By the way, I watched Dr Strang's online video course on linear algebra. That was brilliant too. User Review - Flag as inappropriate israr User Review - Flag as inappropriate In the beginning I felt really discouraged about linear Algebra. I felt that he didn't lay a solid foundation for the fundamentals. The author has a hard time explaining the thoughts running through his active mind. Ideas are jumbled and tossed around to where it eventually becomes a random list of thoughts and equations on a page. User Review - Flag as inappropriate This is a great book for Linear Algebra in Engineering point of view User Review - Flag as inappropriate Livro excelente, pricipalmente se acompanhado em conjunto com o curso de algebra linear do MIT (MIT OCW > MATH > Linear algebra), sou estudante da USP e gostaria de parabenizar à iniciativa do google, do mit, do youtube e do brilhante professor gilbert strang. User Review - Flag as inappropriate Very good textbook. It explains everything rather clearly, avoiding tons of math definitions and formulas. The problems despite being rather simple (even "challenging" ones), are very diverse and help to master the material. User Review - Flag as inappropriate This book explains the idea of linear algebra very well. There is also many examples. Easy to read. User Review - Flag as inappropriate This Prof. Strang's text book for his video lecture at MIT. |
