About the author (1993)

Jeremy Evans is a yachting and action sports journalist of many years' standing. He is the multihull editor and a regular contributor to Yachts & Yachting, and has edited top magazines on yachting, windsurfing, yo-yo playing and inline skating. He has also written and produced books on windsurfing, cycling, mountain biking, motocross, horse riding, outdoor survival, canoeing, literary and long distance walks, skiing, hiking, camping, surfing, inline skating, skateboarding, bee-keeping and, of course, sailing. He has sailed and raced many different yachts and dinghies both at home and abroad, and maintains a notably simple family fleet - a Topper and a Mirror, which graced the 1970 London Boat Show stand.
