Recently I came across the second edition of Text book of Microbiology and Immunology by Dr S C Parija. This book is very different from the rest of books available in market as it is factually updated and gives a deep insight into the subject. The tables and key points are very helpful in understanding the subject and case studies in end of chapters will help the student in self evaluation. The students preparing for Indian Post graduate medical entrance and PLAB UK will also find it very useful.
Dr Atul Garg, Head of department of Microbiology, GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. UP.
