Review: The Histories

User Review  - Witek - Goodreads

It's an amazing example of ancient history writing. It is too bad that only a part of this great work has survived to this day, for Tacitus' style of writing is exhilarating. If you love history and/or have a passion for ancient Rome you simply must read it! Read full review
