My kids were very entertained by this book. They loved that the kid in it is part of the circus. They didn't seem to think before that anybody could be a part of the circus. It intrigued them. Read full review

About the author (2005)

Downs is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He flew fighter aircraft for seven years before taking a job as an airline pilot.

Anik McGrory has traveled to many remote regions of the world and seen many wild and wonderful animals. She has spotted kiwis in New Zealand, studied chimpanzees in Uganda, and glimpsed a kinkajou in Guatemala. She lives in London.
