About the author (1994)

Lindquist is a well-known antiques dealer and world-class authority on antique furniture. He is the owner with Elizabeth Lindquist Mann of Whitehall at the Villa Antiques and Fine Art in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and participates in major antiques shows throughout the country. He is an accredited senior appraiser in the American Society of Appraisers since 1981. He lectures and writes extensively on antique furniture, silver, and identifying fakes and reproductions.

Warren is a writer and research librarian.
