About the author (2008)

Kathy Doughty began making quilts more than 20 years ago, after a move to Australia. She opened a patchwork shop in 2003 called Material Obsession, which is now popular worldwide for traditional contemporary designs. Kathy and her husband / site photographer, John, live in Sydney, Australia, with their family.
