About the author (1996)

Karen Wallace is an award-winning writer. The inspiration for this novel came from her own childhood in Quebec.

Judy Brown was a contributing writer and comedy critic for the L.A. Weekly for over a dozen years. She has covered the comedy front for the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times syndicate, Mademoiselle, and various other mainstream publications. She resides in Santa Monica, California.
