In the final adventure of the spellbinding Viking Magic series, Thora and Oddo attempt to free an Irish boy, who was captured and enslaved during the last Viking raid. Thora befriends Dungal, the scared, freckle-faced Irish boy, but Oddo becomes jealous and sees him as a rival. Reluctantly, Oddo joins Thora as they help Dungal escape back to his homeland. Along the way they get shipwrecked, lost, and captured by rogue Vikings and must work together to continue along their dangerous and exciting journey to get Dungal home.
