Will probably come back to this book if/when I ever start knitting socks. While the sections on color & dyes are more oriented to synthetic dyes, the section on spinning is useful, especially on managing color. Read full review

About the author (2002)

Lynne Vogel is a prolific knitter and spinner and the Grand Champion in Fiber Arts at the Black Sheep Gathering in 2001. She is a contributor to Threads Magazine and has worked as a needlepoint designer, painter, and fiber artist. She lives in Sewanee, Tennessee.
