I've never watched the movie but the script was enough to make me cry. I never knew the history of the gay movement at all, and had no idea that there were people who wanted to "legalize bigotry". It gives me a new appreciation for the movement today. Read full review

About the author (2008)

Screenwriter Dustin Lance Black worked on the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-nominated television series Big Love as a writer and producer for three seasons. He also wrote screenplays for Pedro, profiling the late AIDS activist and reality television star Pedro Zamora.
