There are some interesting proposals in these pages and it is clear that a great deal of thought has been given to improving the state of the nation. As with all plans, however, there are flaws and it's clear that the devil would be in the details. Read full review

About the author (2008)

Daniel Hannan is a writer and a politician. He contributes to several newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal and the London Daily Telegraph. A former president of the Oxford University Conservative Association, he was elected to the European Parliament in 1999, at the age of twenty-seven, and has been reelected twice.
