CRESCENDO

Editorial Review - Kirkus - Jane Doe

The forbidden romance between Nora Grey and fallen angel Patch that began in Hush, Hush (2009) remains off-limits in this predictable, repetitive sequel as Patch, now Nora's guardian angel, is warned by the archangels to keep his distance from his charge. Prompted by Patch's furtiveness and recent detachment and fueled by his involvement with Nora's longtime rival, Marcie Millar, their steamy ... Read full review

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
An interesting mystery.
3/5 stars
I chose to read this book because the cover made it seem interesting, and i've been wanting to read it for a while. The book is
the second of the “Hush, Hush” saga.
Nora Grey has a guardian angel named Patch. Things are not looking good for Nora Grey. She is worried that her boyfriend might like her nemesis, and Nora is sees images of her father often and becomes concerned with understanding his disappearance. As Nora tries to find out the mystery of her father’s death, she starts to think that maybe her Nephilim blood line plays part in it. Patch isn’t answering her questions, so Nora has to start finding the answers on her own. There is a mysterious person called the black hand and he might have something to do with her past. Relying on her guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. She begins to think, can she really rely on Patch, or maybe he has a dark secret...
I like mystery books, but this one was kinda hard for my to read and I didn't like it too much, so I give it 3 stars. I like all the twists and turns, the love and hate, ups and downs. I will probably read the next book in the series silence.

A little pricy
Hush hush is only 5$ and this is 12... I know this isn't a lot compared to some of the other books on here. But still. Other than the fact that the trial is even less than the preview
in Hush Hush itself. It's gonna take a couple days of begging my parents for this one! I but it's going to be worth it! ( just to be clear, and it is going to get a higher rating as soon as I convince my parents to let me get it XD)

I might as well have read the first book again.
Nothing happens in the first 3/4ths of this book. It pretty much repeats the first book over again with a new ending. Like, seriously the author only came up with ten pages of new material.

I love the first chapter of this book, when the romance is very hot. I hope the forth book will have more romance in it. I love Patch and Nora.

Ok!!
The book, much like the 1st in the series, is okay. There are aspects I like but very predictable. Hush, Hush was very predictable as well. It is very simple writing and the formula is very simple as well.

This book is an exciting love story that will leave you wanting more.

I didn't mind the original book, "Hush, Hush," but the sequel was annoying. Nora is extremely nosy--- tricking Patch's best friend, snooping around Marcy's bedroom(and taking her diary), tailing Scott, sneaking into what she thought was Patch's apartment... The plot was good, though.
