MacLennan is unarguably one of Canada's best ever authors. His prose is brilliant. In this book it felt like he was working out his own journey, his beliefs on life, love, politics, and God. I'll admit I skimmed some of the more philosophical narrative, but I did enjoy the story. Read full review
