Inspired by the profound spiritual power of great art, Sister Wendy Beckett's Meditations is an invaluable guidebook on the journey of self-discovery. Taking the four themes of silence, love, joy, and peace, she uses art from all periods to show how to achieve a positive state of calm contemplation. Each meditation is accompanied by one of Sister Wendy's favorite paintings. Sister Wendy has established a presence as both a best-selling author and a delightful character on public television.
