This study is the work of a scholar who has long specialized in Norse and Germanic mythology. She describes the more familiar gods of war, of fertility, of the sky and the sea and the dead, and also discusses those most puzzling figures of Norse mythology - Heimdall, Balder and Loki

Review: Gods and Myths of Northern Europe

User Review  - Rhonda - Goodreads

Very informative on the Gods and Myths of Northern Europe but very dry writing. I barely got started and couldn't stay interested enough to even finish. I am not sure how to rate it- for me, the writing style and dryness made the book a difficult boring read but the information was all there. Read full review
