In this book about weight loss, writen by an MD, you are told to throw your scale away, and to eat more to loose body fat. If you follow this program you will eat more than you've eaten in your life, and you will still drop body fat. Read full review

I found this book quite informative. It will scare you away from eating most everything, but has basically helped me to know to eat more protien to avoid fibromyalgia pain. That has been some good information. Read full review

About the author (2001)

Connelly has devoted his life to the study of the science of nutrition and fitness and is considered one of the world's leading experts in the field of human nutrition and metabolism. The inventor of MET-Rx Engineered Nutrition, he also founded UCLA's A. Scott Connelly Center for Nutrition Science.

Ralph Felder, M.D., Ph.D., popularly known as "Dr. Chef," is the section chief for cardiovascular nutrition, cardiology fellowship program at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. He has appeared on numerous national and local television and radio shows. Carol Colman is a health writer who collaborated on the bestsellers Curves (with Gary Heavin) and "The Melatonin Miracle" (with Walter Pierpaoli).
