About the author (2002)

DIANE WALD has been publishing in literary magazines since 1966, and has received grants from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and the Massachusetts Council on the Arts. She has received the Grolier Poetry Prize, the Denny Award, the Open Voice Award, and the Green Lake Chapbook Award. Her book Lucid Suitcase was published by Red Hen Press in 1999.
