About the author (2011)

Marine biologist Jeanne Rose grew up the skeptical daughter of an herb-loving French-Canadian/Puerto Rican family. Graduate studies in Hawaii and California introduced her to historical and contemporary herb use. A terrible car accident provided the time and space for Jeanne to further her research and write this book. She now runs New Age Creations and the Institute of Aromatic Studies.
