About the author (1991)

Award-winning journalist and international wine judge Elin McCoy has chronicled the world of wine for thirty years. She is the wine and spirits columnist for "Bloomberg Markets", and a longtime contributing editor at "Food & Wine". Her writings have also appeared in the "New York Times, House & Garden, " and many other publications.

Glenn McCoy long has been recognized by his peers as a superior cartoonist. In addition to his editorial cartoons, comic strip, and magazine cartoons, Glenn has designed and written for several animation studios, including Dreamworks SKG, Film Roman, and Walt Disney TV and Feature Animation.

Gary McCoy developed a lifelong love of cartooning alongside younger brother Glenn, and the syndicated strip The Flying McCoys is the culmination of that dream. Gary lives in Belleville, Illinois, just across the Mississippi River from the brothers' hometown of St. Louis.

Huffman received a fine arts degree from the University of Kentucky. He creates no only fine art and illustration, but jewelry, graphic design, fabrics, posters, and greeting cards.
