I used to devour every new edition of Maltin's guides and in the first couple of them I even put check marks next to all the movies I had seen. That became impossible after a while, as I was watching 2-3 movies a day on late night cable TV (WTBS, WGN, WOR). Those were the days.... Even the internet isn't quite a substitute for these capsule reviews or those in Steven Scheuer's similar series of guides.

I got as far as "Alexander Nevsky" on page 21, before deciding to file this under "Leonard" instead of "2000".
