About the author (2011)

As a team of veteran travel writers, Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince have written dozens of previous titles for Frommer’s, including many of their guides to Europe as well as the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. They are also the authors of Frommer’s The Carolinas and Georgia and Portable Savannah. Porter, a noted celebrity biographer, is a native of North Carolina and has lived in both Georgia and South Carolina. He is joined by Danforth Prince, formerly of the Paris bureau of The New York Times and today the president of Blood Moon Productions.
