Sucks all the beauty and mystery out of pre-Christian Scottish religion and leaves behind a bland, desiccated husk. Still, it's informative and well-researched, though at a slim 167 pages of actual text (the rest is bibliography and notes) the treatment of the subject is shallow. Read full review
